ANACOM's Advisory Council met last 7th December for the first time in its new format, as set out in the authority's current statutes. The presidency is held by Álvaro Dâmaso, representing the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communications, who was appointed on 22 September 2004.
This body meets on an ordinary basis twice a year when convened by the president and on an extraordinary basis on the initiative of the president or at the request of at least one third of its members.
As from now there is a new area on this website related to the Advisory Council where relevant information can be found on the body’s functions, structure, composition, meetings and legislation.
