ANACOM at Portugal Tecnológico 2010

The third edition of Portugal Tecnológico (''Technological Portugal''), the technology and innovation show, is being held until 26 September at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa exhibition centre (FIL), in Lisbon’s Parque das Nações.  The event is organised by the Portuguese Industrial Association - Business Confederation (AIP-CE), FIL and BAN Corporate & Media Relations, and opens today.

With the theme "Portugal Tecnológico, leading the future", the event showcases the best solutions in a wide range of areas such as electric mobility, renewable energies, education, health, communications, transportation, security and others. "Technology", "innovation", "demonstration" and "internationalization" are the keywords that characterize Portugal Tecnológico 2010.

ANACOM is taking part in the event, participating in the Portugal Vivo stand of the Ministry of Public Works, transport and Communications, included in the module dedicated to ICT with two areas:

  • one presenting the ''virtual assistant'', a tool available on ANACOM's website,

  • the other, a demonstration zone, identified as  ''anacom.pt Eye-tracking Laboratory''.

Additionally, on 25th September, ANACOM will hold a presentation on ''the accessibility and usability of institutional websites - case study www.anacom.pt'', given by Luís Manuel Carriço, Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics of Universidade de Lisboa, Founder of boomUX and expert in accessibility and usability.
