APRITEL releases study on consumer satisfaction in telecommunications


APRITEL - Associação dos Operadores de Telecomunicações (Association of Telecommunications Operators) announced, on 23 September 2010, the main results of the third Edition of the European study on consumer satisfaction in telecommunications conducted by the telecommunications consultants Millward Brown, which covered five countries: Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands.

According to the study, the Portuguese are European leaders in satisfaction with mobile telephone services (61% declare themselves satisfied (7) or very satisfied (8) on a scale of 1 to 8), followed by fixed telephone (57%), television (51%), fixed internet (46%) and mobile internet (34%). The Portuguese companies (between 83 and 89%) also reveal positive levels of satisfaction regarding the telecommunication services they use.
