ANACOM concluded a protocol with the OE - Ordem dos Engenheiros (Order of Engineers) and the ANET - Associação Nacional dos Engenheiros Técnicos (National Association of Technical Engineers) on 13 October 2010. The objective of this protocol is to define the minimum technical qualifications of the installers and designers, under the legal regime applicable to the construction of infrastructures suitable for the accommodation and installation of electronic communications networks, and the construction of infrastructures for telecommunications in housing developments, urban settlements and concentration of buildings (ITED/ITUR).
It is intended, therefore, to provide these professionals with technical expertise to ensure the quality and conformity of the procedures with the provisions of Decree-Law number 123/2009 of 21 May, as amended by Decree-Law number 258/2009 of 25 September.
