31 December 2010 is the deadline for submission of works to the FPC - Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações (Portuguese Foundation for Communications) 2010/2010 Prize.
The FPC prize is awarded annually to the best research work in the area of communications directed by employees of member companies and organizations of the AICEP- Associação Internacional das Comunicações de Expressão Portuguesa (International Associations of Portuguese Speaking Communicatons). The FPC prize is worth 7, 700 euros. Up to three honourable mentions may be granted and awarded 1,250 euros each. In both cases the amounts are subject to stamp duty at the rate of 35 percent levied at the point of disbursement.
Last year´s work winner was "Evolução das tecnologias de transporte em redes de agregação/metro” (“Technological developments in transportation networks clustering / metro"), by António Famelas, employee of PT Inovação.
