On occasion of the Plenary session of EMERG, which took place in Rome last week (28 January 2011), the Chairman of the Management Board of ANACOM, José Amado da Silva, and Chairman of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Lebanon (TRA), Imad Y. Hoballah, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two regulators.
This memorandum results from the common interest in developing cooperation actions in the context of regulating communications, through the exchange of information and experiences and the implementation of common measures. The Lebanese regulator seeks to discuss issues with ANACOM related to broadband and access to ducts.
