The XXX General Assembly (GA) and the Scientific Symposium of the International Union of Radio (URSI) will take place in Istanbul (Turkey) from 13 to 20 August 2011. The scientific meetings of the Committees are open to all scientists and students registered as participants in the General Assembly.
A call for papers is open until 11 February 2011 and interested parties should submit their contributions electronically through the link provided for that purpose on the site of the General Assembly of URSI. Authors will be notified by 11 March 2011.
February 11 is also the deadline for submission of applications to the Young Scientists Awards. Candidates must be less than 35 years old on September 1 of the year of the URSI General Assembly and Scientific Symposium of URSI (2011 in this case), and have a paper submitted and accepted. Candidates will receive free registration and financial support for accommodation. The application must be made electronically by going to the same website used for the submission of abstracts / papers.
