In Portugal, marking the fifth edition of the European Data Protection Day, which was held on 28 January, the CNPD - Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados (National Commission for Data Protection) has released a self-assessment interactive test online so that each person can verify his degree of vulnerability of identity theft. A handbook was also made available with information on which behavior is the most appropriate in the prevention of identity theft.
Within the scope of the DADUS project the 2nd edition of the contest "A Slogan for Privacy" was also launched; open to children and young people aged 8 to 17. Participation deadline ends on 30 April 2011.
