Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM) has determined, in the scope of its responsibilities, to launch a public consultation on the implementing process of the new regulatory framework for electronic communications.
The public consultation aims to inquire of the participants of the several markets into certain preliminary options regarding the application of Community directives that make up the new regulatory framework, specially on the criteria and indicators necessary to the definition of relevant markets, to the assessment of the competition degree of each market, as well as to the imposition, maintenance or withdrawal of obligations.
ANACOM shall take all contributions received into consideration, in the course of the implementing process of the new regulatory framework.
Responses to the consultation shall not bind the regulator nor prejudge its assessment.
The time limit for receipt of responses to the public consultation shall be 30 June 2003. Responses shall be submitted electronically to the e-mail address analise.mercados@anacom.pt.
