The 2nd Workshop on Economics of ICTs was held on 31 March and 1 April at the University of Évora, jointly organized by the CEF.UP - Centro de Estudos e Finanças da Universidade do Porto (Centre of Studies and Finance at the University of Porto), CEFAGE-UE - Centro de Estudos e Formação Avançada em Gestão e Economia da Universidade de Évora (Center for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics of the University of Évora) and Programme Carnegie Mellon University/Portugal @IST.
During this event the ANACOM Award was attributed in the area of economics, for the best work of scientific research applied to communications in the economic field. The award was presented by the Chairman of ANACOM, José Amado da Silva, to Luis Vasconcelos and Guillaume Rogery for the paper entitled Platform Pricing Structure and Moral Hazard.
