ENISA releases study on botnets


The European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) has released a study on the threat posed by botnets (networks of computer systems remotely controlled by cyber-criminals) and on how this problem can be addressed. The reports assesses the accuracy of estimates on the extent of botnets and makes recommendations for all groups involved in combating these networks. In addition to the main report, ENISA released another document: "Botnets: 10 Tough Questions", setting out 10 key questions to be considered by policy-makers.
