Brussels hosted last 6 April a meeting of the European Commission's Communications Committee (COCOM). Universal service was debated and the Commission indicated that it was preparing a Communication on the subject. Also discussed were mobile satellite services (MSS), article 7 procedures, '116' reserved numbers and the implementation of '112'.
