After a consultancy career in EU Affairs in Brussels, Ilse Wilczek started work as Manager Public Affairs with TNT Post in The Hague in September 2004. For 3 years, Ilse was closely involved in the discussions over the new Postal Act in the Netherlands and the liberalization of the Dutch and European postal markets.
In January 2007 she was appointed as Director Public Affairs within TNT's Express Division to coordinate TNT’s Global and European Public Affairs activities. In this role, she actively contributed to the work of the European and Global Express Association and assisted in shaping the Public Affairs agenda of TNT in emerging markets, such as China and India.
In December 2008, Ilse took up the position of TNT Group Director Public Affairs reporting directly to the CEO.
With the demerger of TNT's express business she was appointed Director Public Affairs of TNT Post. Her main focus will be on making the regulatory framework for postal services in The Netherlands more flexible and sustainable in light of the fast changing postal market.
