By determination of 26 May 2011, ANACOM approved a report on administrative costs and sum resulting from the collection of fees due to this Authority for 2010, by electronic communications networks and services providers.
These fees concern the following acts: issue of declarations supporting rights associated to the general authorization regime; exercise of the activity of electronic communications networks and services provider; assignment of rights of use for frequencies; assignment of rights of use for numbers and respective reservation.
The approval and publication of this report follow from the Law of Electronic Communications (paragraph 5 of article 105 of Law number 5/2004, of 10 February).
In this scope, it was also decided, pursuant to the mentioned legal provision, to refund an overall amount of €2 910 551 to the various electronic communications networks and services providers, concerning 2009 and 2010, following the review of fees already settled.
