Spectru no. 118 - June 2011

The June 2011 issue of the Spectru monthly bulletin includes reports about the Cacém relay's analogue television transmission switch-off, as it is replaced by digital terrestrial television on 16 June, the ANACOM determination obliging PT Comunicações to correct its failure to provide clear and accurate information about DTT, and the prohibition of commercial practices which in any way convince consumers that the only way to keep watching the open channels (RTP1, RTP2, SIC and TVI, as well as RTP Azores and RTP Madeira) is by subscribing to a pay service.

This issue also contains an article on the launch of the new Com.escolha service, a tool meant to help consumers choose electronic communication services that best fit their needs.
