By determination of 1 July 2011, ANACOM has given approval to the report on the general consultation procedure on the methodological definition with respect to the development of a cost model for mobile termination to be implemented by this Authority.
ANACOM conducted the consultation in order to sound out the market and consumers on the methodological aspects related to the cost model under development and not on the cost model itself.
As such, ANACOM sought at this stage only to compile opinions and observations on relevant aspects of this model. This will enable more informed decision-making on certain key aspects under development with the next draft decision, which will identify the details of the cost model to be considered for the purposes of applying the obligation to align prices with the costs determined in the analysis, concluded in May 2010, of the mobile terminations market.
