The Portuguese Committee of URSI has launched a call for papers, which aims to promote the dissemination of scientific works and encourage the exchange of experience among researchers, manufacturers and service providers, among others.
This initiative makes up part of the preparations of the fifth Committee's Congress, taking place on 11 November 2011, on the theme ''Detection and measurement of radio signals in the future of radiocommunications''.
Interested parties may submit original scientific papers, by 30 September 2011, on the central theme or on the defined scientific areas. The selected works will be presented at the Congress.
The Portuguese Committee of URSI, with sponsorship from ANACOM, will award the ''ANACOM-URSI Portugal Prize'', recognising the best research work in the area of radio electricity. Applications may be submitted by 30 September 2011.
The prize, will be delivered during the Congress to the best paper presented by a Portuguese student.
