ANACOM delivered a letter to every household in the civil parishes of Famalicão, in the municipality of Nazaré, and Alfeizerão, in the municipality of Alcobaça, alerting for the need to prepare for receiving the signal of digital terrestrial television (DTT) satellite (DTH), in order to ensure migration to DTT by 13 of October, switch-off date of analogue television signal.
This measure was based on a survey carried out in the area covered by the Nazaré relay, which shows that in these two parishes, which will receive the signal via satellite; only 30 percent of the residents are aware that these two parishes will be in areas covered by DTH.
