Public consultation report on telex, data, telegraph and maritime mobile services

By determination of 30 November 2012 and pursuant to its assignments as laid down in point a) of paragraph 1 of article 6 of its Statutes, in annex to Decree-Law no. 309/2011 of 7 December and in exercise of the powers for which provision is made under point l) of article 26 of the same Statutes, ANACOM has approved the report on the public consultation on telex, fixed switched data transmission, telegraph and maritime mobile (public correspondence component) services, as currently provided by the concessionaire of the public telecommunications service, while also giving approval to a set of recommendations made to the Government.

In response to the public consultation, contributions were received from the following undertakings: ADAPI - Associação dos Armadores das Pescas Industriais (Ship-owners Association of Industrial Fisheries), Grupo Portugal Telecom (which includes Portugal Telecom, PT Comunicações and -TMN), Optimus and Vodafone Portugal.
