ANACOM launched an information brochure on its Testing and Calibration Laboratory (Laboratório de Ensaios e Calibração - LEC) with a view to promote the activities and competencies it was assigned.
The LEC undertakes technological research and development, performing accurate testing and calibration in order to ensure the effective and efficient use of radio spectrum. For this purpose, activities are carried out in the following operational areas: electromagnetic compatibility testing, radio testing and calibration. The laboratory is accredited by the Instituto Português de Acreditação (IPAC) - the Portuguese Accreditation Institute, which formally acknowledges its technical expertise and the guarantee of services provided to customers.
