Final decision on the development of the digital terrestrial television network

By determination of 16 May 2013, ANACOM has approved the final decision on the development of the digital terrestrial television (DTT) network in Portugal.

ANACOM also approved the report on the prior hearing and consultation to which the corresponding draft decision was submitted (determination of 8 March 2013). Under these procedures, comments were received from ten undertakings representing citizens, electronic communications operators, television broadcasting operators and DECO - Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor (Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection).  Further comment was received subsequent to the consultation deadline, and was not therefore given consideration in the report, while nevertheless made available for consultation along with the other comments received.
