Draft decision on the methodology to be used for calculating the net cost of the universal postal service

By determination of 5 July 2013, ANACOM has approved a draft decision on the methodology to be used for calculating the CLSU - custos líquidos do serviço universal (net cost of universal service) covering postal services.

It was decided to submit this draft decision to the prior hearing of interested parties, pursuant to articles 100 and 101 of the Código de Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code), and also to the general consultation procedure as laid down in article 9 of Lei Postal (Postal Law - Law no. 17/2012 of 26 April). In both cases, a period of 20 working days is provided for interested parties to comment.
