An extraordinary meeting of Regulatel was held last 25 July in Panama City, Panama. ANACOM attended the gathering via videoconference and actively participated in discussion of the proposed statutes, the internal organisation, the proposed Regulatel/BEREC cooperation memorandum and the cooperation contract with the European Commission. The next plenary meeting will be held in October. The new statutes of this Latin American forum are expected to be approved at that time.
