The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) is hosting a workshop on accessibility on 15 October 2013.
The aim of the event is to provide an opportunity to discuss the challenges of accessibility from the perspective of end-users and to discuss the role of regulators and service providers in promoting accessibility; it will also provide a venue for the presentation of initiatives from manufacturers to improve accessibility in electronic communications services for people with special needs.
The event will be held in Brussels, Belgium, and will feature speakers from national regulatory authorities (NRA) in Europe, the European Commission (EC), industry, operators and user groups.
