ANACOM has conducted an internally developed study on bundled offers of electronic communications services in Portugal.
Electronic communications services provided in bundles have been playing a growing role in Portugal in recent years, especially triple-play bundles, composed of fixed telephone service (FTS), fixed Internet access (FIAS) and subscription television service (STVS).
In this context, this study seeks to gauge how consumers view bundled offers compared to separate offers of electronic communications services, and also seeks to understand the motivations associated with the acquisition of bundled services, identifying common traits and differences between competitive and non-competitive geographical areas in terms of pricing and demand patterns; and analysing certain generic contract conditions applied to bundles of services.
