ANACOM has released the latest edition of its "Directory of Companies in the Communications Sector" in Portugal (with reference to 2013).
The Directory includes details of all companies operating in the communications sector as on 30 June 2013, providing basic data on each company and their activity in the provision of electronic communications and/or postal services. In particular, the Directory includes the name and contact details of each company, information on the services/networks that each is authorised to provide and the market segments where each operates and data on reported turnover and average number of employees.
By making this type of information available, ANACOM seeks to provide market participants with solid data, so that those who manage, use and invest in electronic communications and postal services are able to make informed decisions based on up-to-date information.
The publication is available in electronic format only and contains some of the information previously provided in the "Communications Sector in Portugal Yearbook" which, in 2013, has resulted in two new publications: "The Communications Market in the National Economy" (soon to released) and the "Directory of Companies in the Communications Sector".
