ANACOM's decision to reduce prevailing fixed termination rates has now entered into force. This decision, which determines an average reduction in termination rates of over 80 percent - to 0.1114 eurocents - paves the way for lower consumers prices.
With this decision, which came into effect on 01 October 2013, ANACOM has adopted the European Commission Recommendation on terminations, which seeks to reduce termination rates in member countries and brings these rates into line with best European practices.
