Revision of the objectives and rules governing postal network density and minimum offer of services presented by CTT

Considering that the objectives and rules governing postal network density and the minimum offer of services, as presented by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT), do not match the needs of users under the terms of the current legal framework, by determination of 10 April 2014, ANACOM has determined that:

• under the terms of paragraph 5 of Base XV of the universal postal service concession, CTT is required, within a period of 30 working days, to revise its proposal, taking proper account of the position and respective reasoning set out by ANACOM;
   
• CTT's revised proposal is to be accompanied by detailed reasoning, based on the factors indicated in paragraph 3 of Base XV of the universal postal service concession, and indication, where applicable, of the current values prevailing on its postal network as correspond to the indicators and objectives proposed, with explanation of the reasons which justify differences between the values of the current situation and the values proposed.
