ANACOM and the Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC - Spain's regulator with powers in matters of electronic communications) held a bilateral meeting last 4 April in Lisbon with a view to sharing experience between the two national regulatory authorities (NRAs) and to enhance cooperation for participation in regulatory bodies, especially the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC), the Latin American Forum of Telecommunications Regulatory Authorities (REGULATEL) and the Euro-Mediterranean Regulators Group (EMERG), given the associated benefits when coordinated as much as possible.
The specific topics covered included market analyses and the monitoring of broadband quality of service.
