Use of frequencies by radiocommunication stations on hang-gliders

By determination of 26 June 2014, ANACOM has approved the use of the 143.950 MHz, 143.9375 MHz and 143.925 MHz frequencies to support radiocommunications in the context of the activity of hang-gliding, under a radio licensing exemption regime, with the following technical conditions:
- Objective - to ensure emergency and rescue communications and general communications in sporting events or practices in the context of free flight.
- Operating frequencies - 143.950 MHz 143.9375 MHz and 143.925 MHz.
- Channelling - 12.5 kHz.
- Emission Designation - 11k0G3E.
- Maximum effective radiated power - 2 Watts.
- Antenna - omnidirectional with unity gain.
- Operating mode - simplex.
- Service Area - entire national territory.
It was also determined that use of these frequencies, in the context of the activity of hang-gliding, be extended to powered paragliding or paramotoring.
