Consultation on the values to be defined for the quality of service indicator on registered mail transit time


By determination of 30 December 2014, ANACOM has approved a decision determining the quality of service parameters and performance targets associated with provision of the universal postal service, to apply during the 2015-2017 three-year period.

This decision does not cover definition of minimum and target values for QSI11, as related to registered mail transit time. A draft decision was approved on this matter, providing for application of 89 and 91 percent respectively in 2016 and 2017.

This draft decision is submitted to the prior hearing of CTT and to public consultation, as well as to the hearing of consumer organisations. A period of 20 working days is provided for comments, ending on 30 January 2015.

Once the consultation process has been concluded, the contributions received will be made public. Therefore, for the purposes of publication on this website, respondents should also submit a non-confidential version of their comments excluding any items considered confidential.

On the same date, ANACOM also approved the report on the prior hearing and consultation to which the draft decision was submitted - draft decision on the quality of service parameters and performance targets associated with provision of the universal postal service, approved on 1 August 2014.
