Workshops for trainers on updates to the ITED and ITUR regimes will be held on 10 February 2015, in Fundação Dr. António Cupertino de Miranda, Porto, and on 12 February 2015, in Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações, Lisbon.
The workshops aim to promote clarification and discussion of technical aspects related to the 3rd edition of the ITED Manual - Requirements and technical specifications of telecommunications infrastructure in buildings and to the 2nd edition of the ITUR Manual - Requirements and technical specifications of infrastructure telecommunications in housing developments, urban settlements and concentrations of buildings, which will be the subject of new training to be given to installers and designers.
This material is governed by Decree-Law no. 123/2009 of 21 May, as amended and republished by Law no. 47/2013 of 10 July, which makes it mandatory for all ITED and ITUR technicians to undertake at least 50 hours training by 10 September 2016 to update their knowledge.
Participation in the workshops is free but restricted (trainers only) and subject to prior registration by 6 and 8 February, respectively, using the registration forms provided.
