Undertakings required to contribute to the electronic communications universal service compensation fund and value of CLSU contributions for 2007-2009

On 29 January 2015, ANACOM approved a decision identifying the undertakings required to contribute to the electronic communications universal service compensation fund and setting the value of the extraordinary contributions as regards the CLSU - custos líquidos do serviço universal (net costs of universal service) to be compensated for the period prior to the designation of the universal service provider by public tender (2007-2009).

Approval was also given to the report of the prior hearing to which the respective draft decision was submitted, following ANACOM decision of 19 December 2014. In response to this hearing, comments were received from the following undertakings: Ultraserve, Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais (Vodafone), Companhia IBM Portuguesa (IBM), NOS Comunicações, NOS Açores, NOS Madeira and MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO).
