An ''Information workshop on changes to the ITED and ITUR regimes'' is taking place on 11 March 2015, in the auditorium of Direção Regional de Qualificação Profissional, in Funchal, Madeira. The event is being held to promote the clarification and discussion of technical aspects related to the 3rd edition of the ITED Manual - Requirements and technical specifications of telecommunications infrastructure in buildings and to the 2nd edition of the ITUR Manual - Requirements and technical specifications of infrastructure telecommunications in housing developments, urban settlements and concentrations of buildings.
The workshop is covered by Decree-Law no. 123/2009 of 21 May, as amended and republished by Law no. 47/2013 of 10 July, which makes it mandatory for all ITED and ITUR technicians to complete at least 50 hours of training to update their knowledge by 10 September 2016.
The workshop is restricted to ITED-ITUR technicians; participation is free but prior registration is required by 10 March, using the email address indicated on the event page.
