The European Commission is conducting a public consultation on Directive 2010/13/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 10 March 2010 on the offer of Audiovisual Media Services (AVMSD).
The consultation, which closed on 30 September 2015, is being held as part of the Regulatory Fitness and Performance Programme (REFIT), to ascertain which parts of the Directive are currently fit for purpose, and also to compile evidence and views on the future media services policy in the form of an impact assessment.
