Decision on the definition of terrestrial coverage obligations to be included in the title issued to MEO in the context of DTT

By determination of 1 October 2015, ANACOM has approved the final decision on the definition of terrestrial coverage obligations to be included in the right of use of frequencies (ANACOM no. 06/2008) granted to MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (formerly PT Comunicações) in the context of digital terrestrial television - multiplexer A (DTT MUX A).

Approval was also given to the report on the prior hearing and consultation to which the corresponding draft decision (approved on 25 June 2015) was submitted. In response to these procedures, contributions were received from MEO, Amitrónica, Blogue TDT em Portugal, CPMCS - Confederação Portuguesa dos Meios de Comunicação Social (Portuguese Media Confederation) and Rádio Baía. A further contribution was presented by DECO - Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor (Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection) but received subsequent to the deadline.  As such, while DECO's contribution is available for consultation with the other contributions, it was not considered in the report.
