The expert working group (EWG) on Regulatory Framework in the scope of Project Requirement Definition (PRD)/over-the-top (OTT) services held a meeting last 9 July in Brussels.
The main agenda point was discussion of the preliminary report on OTT services and scheduling the group’s work. The group notably agreed to forward the preliminary report to the co-chairs of other BEREC groups (Benchmarking EWG, End-User EWG, Net Neutrality EWG and Market and Economic Analysis EWG) so that the report’s consistency could be checked vis-à-vis the work carried out by those groups.
The next step will be for the group to gather written comments on the preliminary version meanwhile revised in the wake of the second meeting as well as other comments received with a view to producing the final version to be submitted to the BEREC Contact Network in September 2015.
