''Connecting Europe Facility'' - call for proposals


In the context of the "Connecting Europe Facility", the European Commission has launched a call for proposals with a view to providing support to projects which address the interoperability, interconnection and development of trans-European digital infrastructures, providing 38.7 million euros in funding.

Proposals must be submitted by 19 January 2016 and cover areas of e-Delivery (electronic transmission of documents), e-Invoicing, Public Open Data (generic services of open public data access), Safer Internet (generic safer Internet services) and Europeana (platform to access digital objects of European historical and cultural heritage).

A similar call will be issued on 17 November covering the areas of e-Procurement, e-Health, e-Identification, e-Signature and online dispute resolution, with the submission of proposals closing on 15 March 2016.

On 27 November, the European Commission will organize a virtual information session (Virtual info day) on this call.
