The catalogue of the exhibition "The Submarine Cable in a Sea of Connectivity" is available. The exhibition, which is organised by ANACOM, is open to the public until 30 April 2016 at Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações (Portuguese Communications Foundation); it showcases the importance of submarine cables in global communications over the past 150 years.
The catalogue includes a foreword written by ANACOM's Chairmanhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1371542, Fátima Barros, in which she emphasises the submarine cable's role as "an excellent platform for the introduction of cutting edge technologies which are then gradually adopted into other networks, including Next Generation Access Networks".
