A meeting between the chair and vice-chairs of BEREC and the IRG was held on 14 October in Brussels.
The meeting particularly focused on BEREC’s response to the European Commission (EC) regarding the review of the regulatory framework for electronic communications, and also on preparations for BEREC’s last plenary meeting in 2015 and especially for the BEREC Stakeholders Forum (15 October in Brussels).
Besides Fátima Barros, the chair of both ANACOM and BEREC, the other participants were Göran Marby (Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS)), Wilhelm Eschweiler (Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA)), Lidia Kozlowska (Office of Electronic Communications (UKE)), Kevin O’Brien (Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg)) and Marc Furrer (Federal Communications Commission (ComCom)).
