Brussels hosted on 14 October the 61st COCOM meeting, during which the current implementation status of the operators’ (technical and commercial) systems was reported in the scope of the working group on pan-European Mobile Satellite Systems (WG MSS).
The European Commission (EC) presented a proposed decision on the mobile terminations average for the purposes of the roaming regulation within the single telecoms market.
Regarding Directive 2014/61/EC on measures meant to reduce the cost of deploying high-speed electronic communication networks, the EC reported on the current status of its transposition by the member states.
Lastly, the EC presented a questionnaire on how national justice systems work. The aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of courts in the area of electronic communications.
