Definition of terrestrial coverage obligations to be included in the title issued to MEO in the context of DTT - rectification


On 14 January 2016, ANACOM approved a rectification of its final decision of 1 October 2015 on the definition of terrestrial coverage obligations and on the amendment of the right of use of frequencies granted to MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO) in the context of digital terrestrial television - Multiplexer A (DTT MUX A).

Accordingly, in Annex 2 to the decision of 1 October 2015 - listing the percentages of the population in each municipality for which MEO is bound to provide terrestrial coverage - the percentage given for the municipality Águeda is amended from ''91.79%'' to ''89.99%''.

The same decision is also amended as follows: ''Accordingly, the terrestrial coverage obligations are determined by municipality and are as listed in Annex 2 to the present determination; said obligations are directly associated with the information contained in the shapefile sent by MEO, attached to the letter of 10 September 2015'' is amended to read ''Accordingly, the terrestrial coverage obligations are determined by municipality and are as listed in Annex 2 to the present determination, and in accordance with the amendment made on 14 January 2016; said obligations are directly associated with the information contained in the shapefile sent by MEO, attached to the letter of 26 November 2015''.
