Approval given to consultation report on availability of spectrum in the 3.4-3.8 GHz frequency band

By decision of 28 January 2016, ANACOM has approved the report on the public consultation held on the availability of spectrum in the 3.4-3.8 GHz frequency band. In response to this consultation, launched by decision of 23 April 2015https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1355431, contributions were received from the following undertakings: ESOA - EMEA Satellite Operators Association, NOS Comunicações, O3b Services (Portugal), PT Portugal SGPS (on behalf of its subsidiary MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia) and Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais.
