The European Commission has adopted a proposed Regulation which envisages a review of international wholesale roaming charges with a view to the application of the roam like at home principle which is to be discussed now in the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament.
This proposal amends (EU) Regulation no. 531 issued by the European Parliament and Council on June 13th 2012, setting the maximum prices at 0.04 Euros/minute, 0.01 Euros/SMS and 0.0085 Euros/megabyte.
