The Regulatel-BEREC summit meeting was held in Cancun, where the participants debated European and Latin American initiatives regarding the digital economy. The chairs of both groups were in attendance, along with the European Commission’s director-general for Communication Networks, Content and Technologies, Roberto Viola. The discussion focused on regulatory challenges raised by matters such as international roaming, net neutrality and over-the-top services.
