Amendment of the Right of Use of Frequencies allocated to MEO for digital terrestrial television (MUX A)

On 22 September 2016, ANACOM approved a draft decision to amend the conditions attached to the right of use of frequencies allocated to MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia S.A. (MEO) for the digital terrestrial television broadcasting service (DTT), as associated with Multiplexer A (MUX A) and corresponding to Title ICP-ANACOM No. 06/2008. Approval was also given to the draft title which will be re-issued to enshrine this right.

It was decided to submit this amendment to the right of use frequencies to the prior hearing of interested parties, in accordance with the Código de Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code) and also to the general consultation procedure, as under article 8 of LCE - Lei das Comunicações Eletrónicas (Electronic Communications Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=333114); under both procedures, interested parties are given a period of twenty working days to submit their comment (in writing and in Portuguese).
