On 12 October 2016, the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) issued a press release giving details of its 4th Stakeholder Forum, which is taking place on 17 October 2016 in Brussels, Belgium.
As highlighted in the press release, this year’s Stakeholder Forum will focus on BEREC's 2017 work programme and on the ongoing review of the regulatory framework for electronic communications. In this context the forum will be an opportunity to debate two important issues:
- Providing connectivity to every European citizen;
- Facilitating the development of the digital economy.
The event is open to the general public and will be broadcast live on BEREC's YouTube channel. It will also be possible to interact in real time through BEREC's Twitter account (#BERECforum https://twitter.com/hashtag/BERECforum?src=hash).
