By decision of 27 October 2016, ANACOM approved the results of auditing the net costs of the universal service (NCUS) from MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO), for the 2014 financial year (the period prior to designation of the universal service provider by public tender).
This decision approves - taking into account the results of the audit performed and the respective declaration of conformity - the estimates submitted by MEO, on 6 May 2016, and determines the final figures of the previous 2014 NCUS with the current provision for universal service as 7 721 670.71 euros.
Also approved was the report of the prior hearing and public consultation concerning the draft decision of 10 August 2016.
