"Imagine you are an adviser to the new UN Secretary-General: which world issue would you help him tackle first and what solution would you recommend?" is the topic chosen by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) for the 2017 letter-writing competition.
The Letter-writing competition is aimed at children aged 9 to 15 (as at 31 January 2017) and aims to stimulate a love of letter-writing. The deadline for receiving the letters is 3 March 2017 (postmark date).
The young competitors should write a letter on the mentioned topic, and the winning entry will represent Portugal in the international competition, alongside the winning letters from the other UPU member countries.
In Portugal this initiative is promoted jointly by ANACOM and by CTT - Correios de Portugal.
