BEREC sets priorities for 2017

The Body of European Regulators of Electronic Communications (BEREC) released its Work Programme for 2017 on 11 January 2017.

BEREC established its main strategic priorities as the analysis of the European Commission’s proposal for a review of the current regulatory framework for electronic communications, and the maintenance of the commitment to develop regulatory best practices among National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs), leading to an independent, consistent, high-quality regulation of electronic communications markets.

BEREC’s work programme for 2017 was discussed and agreed at the BEREC Board of Regulators meeting in Berlin (Germany) on 8-9 December. In line with the practice of previous years, the work programme was subject to public consultation, which took place between 7 October and 2 November 2016.
